Founded in 1986 and making solar since 2002, Risen Energy is one of the world’s leading new-energy enterprises — manufacturing solar modules and battery storage and developing photovoltaic power plants across the globe. The numbers tell the scale: a Tier-1 Bloomberg manufacturer, publicly listed since 2010 (SZSE 300118), with 48 GW+ of annual module capacity, 100+ offices and branches, and annual sales of RMB 35.3 billion (FY2023).
Behind the factories sits a serious research operation: the Global PV Research Institute, three national photovoltaic laboratories, a CNAS-certified national testing lab covering 54 test protocols to IEC 61215, IEC 61730-2 and UL 1703, and 740 patented technologies — including industry-first mass production of 0BB and ultra-thin HJT cells.

Offices in Melbourne and Brisbane serve utility developers, EPCs, distributors and installers nationwide; we’ve developed Western Australia’s largest solar farm, signed a 10-year PPA with BHP, and earned ARENA funding for grid-scale storage.
